A female pedestrian has been hit by a car in The municipality of Akhalgori. She sustained a brain trauma and was transported to the hospital in Tbilisi.
The investigation into the case has been launched under part 2 of article 276 envisaging violation of traffic rules and road safety resulting in health damage.
Perpetrators of similar crimes are sentenced up to three years in prison.
