Citizens from the red zone moved to Tskaltubo

There are 97 citizens from Italy placed in one of the hotels in Tskaltubo.

According to Gocha Giorgidze, the head of the Imereti Division of the Center for Disease Control and Public Health, they have no symptoms of the virus, and isolation is just a safety measure.

Giorgidze said that the citizens are periodically tested and informed. The medical staff will monitor the situation.

Italy got declared as a "red zone" on March 10 due to coronavirus, with quarantine imposed throughout the country.

Georgia has 23 recorded cases of Covid-19.

Currently, there are 126 people in quarantine and 46 in inpatient care.
