Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 37 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 431 people were tested.
A total of 176 patients are now under treatment at the six COVID centers in the region, with 24 patients in critical condition.
The occupied region has so far registered 12,025 cases, 9,902 recoveries, and 191 deaths (2 recent).
