Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 84 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 265 people were tested.
A total of 131 patients are now under treatment at Gudauta hospital, 28 patients with severe COVID-19.
The region has so far registered 5,732 cases, 3,661 recoveries, and 77 deaths.
