The coronavirus-related situation is worsening in the country, according to NCDC head Amiran Gamkrelidze.
In Gamkrelidze's words, the coronavirus positivity rate has already increased by 3%. ''We think case numbers are increasing, with this possibly caused by two reasons: Omicron spreads more rapidly and social mobility increased before the New Year. The mortality rate also remains high,'' Gamkrelidze declared.
