Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 15 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 181 people were tested.
A total of 43 patients are now under treatment at the five COVID centers in the region, with 8 patients in critical condition.
The occupied region has so far registered 13,087 cases, 12,539 recoveries, and 205 deaths (one recent).
