"As of today, we have intensive negotiations, which means that in February, we expect a certain amount of vaccine for Georgia from the Covax platform," the Minister of Health, Ekaterine Tikaradze, stated.
According to her, the first batch of coronavirus vaccines will be distributed to vulnerable groups.
"We are cooperating with the Covax platform, which requires the country to submit a vaccine plan. We have submitted a plan to the World Health Organization and the Covax platform. As of today, we have intensive negotiations and expect a certain amount of vaccine for Georgia, which will be distributed to the vulnerable groups who are at risk," Ekaterine Tikaradze said.
