An employee of a metallurgical plant died in Kutaisi.
According to report.ge, he was trying to extinguish the burning part of the factory during the smelting of metal, during which he allegedly inhaled a large amount of smoke. A man under the age of 50 died on the spot.
The incident happened a few days ago.
As the Ministry of Internal Affairs told report.ge, the incident is being investigated under Article 240, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates violation of safety rules during work, which resulted in the loss of human life.
