Metropolitan bishop of Akhalkalaki, Kumurdo, and Kari Nikoloz says that he wants to pose some questions to public defender Nino Lomjaria.
''I want to tell her if she suspected that criminal acts were committed there, she should have put aside the issue of COVID and taken children out of that place. How could she have kept silent since 2018? She might have made some statement, but they have not reached my ears. She was not obliged to tell me, but I am not obliged to read her all reports either,'' Father Nikoloz told TV Pirveli.
Public Defender Lomjaria said earlier that the investigation is underway in alleged violence and rape offenses in Ninotsminda boarding school.
