A fire has reportedly been put out at a construction materials market on Kavtaradze Street, according to the Emergency Management Service.
"The fire could have spread towards the nearby filling station; however, thanks to operative measures by the firefighters and rescuers, the threat has been avoided; the fire has timely been localized and eventually extinguished.
No one has been harmed in the fire," the statement by the body reads.
