A fire in Varketili district has been localized, and firefighters are now combating the blaze, according to Head of the Emergency Management Service Otar Kereselidze. A total of 1,000m2 has reportedly been devastated.
No risks of an explosion at the filling station exist any longer. Twenty-five fire brigades are now working on the scene.
