First coronavirus case in Georgia, the patient's health condition stable

Health condition of the Georgia citizen who tested positive for the coronavirus is reportedly stable, according to Amiran Gamkrelidze, the Director-General of the National Centre for Disease Control. The virus is not posing a serious threat to the patient's health at this point. 

The first case of the coronavirus has reportedly been confirmed in Georgia, with the statement made by Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze. The test of a Georgian citizen, who entered Georgia from Iran, has proved positive for the virus.

The 50-year-old Georgian citizen who brought coronavirus to the country has spent a week in Iran.
