Georgia banned foreign nationals from entering the state border of Georgia for two weeks from March 18, 00:00. Irakli Chikovani, the Prime Minister's spokesperson, revealed the news at a briefing at the government administration.

According to him, Georgian citizens who wish to return home will have the opportunity to use the airline operated by Georgian Airlines.

"Zurab Abashidze, the Prime Minister's adviser, spoke to Russian officials, and the ban is already effective towards Russia. Those who are family members of our citizens can enter Georgia," Chikovani said.
