Gamkrelidze denies allegations on hiding coronavirus cases

Amiran Gamkrelidze, the Head of the National Center for Disease Control, denied allegations saying that the number of coronavirus cases are far more in Georgia than reported. He did not rule out that there may be some presently unidentified cases, with their number not as high as alleged.

Mr. Gamkrelidze once again underscored that transmission of the virus may accelerate in the country, which is why everyone must stay at home.
