Gamkrelidze explains where it is obligatory to use a mask

Amiran Gamkrelidze, the head of the National Center for Disease Control, explains where it is mandatory to use a mask despite easing regulations.

"While the mandatory wearing of a mask got removed in outdoor spaces, it is necessary to wear a mask in closed spaces, at stops, as well as in markets and at places where many people gather. Until about 30% of the population is vaccinated, the main tool we have to fight the pandemic is a mask," Gamkrelidze said.
