Gamrelidze says public transport resumption issue will be soon resolved

Amiran Gamkrelidze the head of the Center for Disease Control, said that the public transport resumption issue is being discussed at the Coordination Council, and the decision will soon be made.

"On 22 May, a state of emergency is set to be lifted in the country; however, other countries' examples indicate that we should be cautious; some restrictions have to be eased sooner than others, and, obviously, the demand for public transport is high," Gamkrelidze said, adding that the issue of resumption of public transport services will be made in the short run.
