January 14 marks the day of the flag of Georgia, also known as the Five Cross Flag. The flag obtained its official status on January 14, 2004.
Today, at 12:00 (local time), five cross flags will be displayed on historic balconies of the Tbilisi City Municipal Assembly.
The flag of Georgia, together with the anthem and official emblem, is Georgia's national symbol.
