Georgia coronavirus: 70-year-old tests positive

A 70-year-old man has tested positive for COVID-19 in the Zugdidi municipality, according to Zugdidi City Hall. The men entered the country from the Lars checkpoint on 12 June. He left the quarantine area, after undergoing PCR testing, to attend his brother's funeral. 

The man was retested and transferred to the Rukhi clinic as he showed suspicious symptoms. His contacts have been traced, with seven of them quarantined.
