Georgia experiences national mourning day today

In memory of the fatal road accident in Shatili, Georgia declared August 25 a national mourning day.

Georgian PM Giorgi Gakharia signed the decree.

Flags on the administrative buildings will be down nationwide today, on August 25.

A minibus fell off a cliff from about 80-meter height on August 23 at the Shatili road.

The accident claimed 17 lives and left three severely injured.
