Georgia to lift part of restrictions starting tomorrow

Starting February 15, several restrictions will be lifted across Georgia.

Schools will open, but students can follow online classes if they want to.

Fifth-twelfth-grade students will have to wear face masks, but those with health problems can be without the masks.

Teachers in risk groups are free to request school administrations to continue working in a remote mode.

Restaurants and food facilities will be allowed to host people on Monday-Friday, but only in open areas.

The regulation of wearing a face mask will become stricter starting February 15, and the penalty will increase if the rule is violated repeatedly.

If organizations violate the law and carry out prohibited economic activities amidst restrictions, they will no longer enjoy the allowances.
