Georgian Border Police granted 30 off-road vehicles

The European Union and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) have transferred 30 off-road vehicles to the border police of Georgia.

The transfer ceremony took place on the territory of the Red Bridge border department.

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Giorgi Butkhuzi and the head of the border police, Colonel Nikoloz Sharadze, with the head of the EU Delegation to Georgia Carl Hartzel and Sanja Celebic-Lokovac, IOM Georgia Chief of Mission, observed the border infrastructure.

The delegation also visited the Red Bridge checkpoint.

The total cost of vehicles is over 3.3 million GEL.
