The Embassy of Georgia to the UK has released a statement for its citizens.
“For the prevention of the spread of the new COVID-19 variant, the traveling rules to the UK change: under the UK government’s decision, all international travelers including the UK citizens on their way to the UK must present the negative response of the PCR (COVID-19) test taken within 72 hours.
If neglecting the new regulation, a passenger will face a penalty in the amount of £500.
All the travelers are subject to a ten-day self-isolation period,’’ the statement reads.
