Georgian health official says public has final say in whether fourth virus wave hits Georgia

Director-General of Infectious Diseases, AIDS and Clinical Immunology Research Center, Tengiz Tsertsvadze, said that the public has the final say in whether or not the fourth coronavirus wave hits Georgia.

Mr. Tsertsvadze once again called upon the public to wear face masks, saying that it protects from all coronavirus strains equally well.

''Face masks! Face masks! If Indian strain spreads, it will speed up the advent of the fourth wave. Face masks are effective against all strains,'' he stated.
