According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Georgian prisoner tested positive on coronavirus in a Norwegian prison. Agency noted that at the request of the prisoner, the consular assistance gets notified of the needs of the prisoner.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed that diplomatic missions and consular posts regularly monitor the situation of Georgian citizens in prisons.
There are no reports about other cases of prisoners abroad.
