Public Health Expert Prof Devi Tabidze says that the situation in Georgia is alarming, and coronavirus regulations need to be stiffened in the country.
In his words, the church controls the current situation better than others.
''We can define the existing situation as an 'SOS regime.' We need to learn the coexistence with the virus, and we must follow recommendations. As for NGOs, if they stiffen recommendations, passing through the Omicron wave will prove easier. Considering the status quo, I approve of the idea of stiffening coronavirus regulations. We had better celebrate different festivals less for the sake of our longevity,'' Tabidze stated.
