A planting event was underway in the yard of Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, located in the town of Mtskheta.
A total of 700 plants of 30 species were planted.
Georgia’s Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Levan Davitashvili and Deputy Minister Nino Tandiladshvili planted trees.
The event was held on the initiative of the Green Georgia foundation of Georgia’s Patriarchate.
