Houses, land lots flooded in Georgia's Abasha municipality

Georgia's Samegrelo region has faced issues after heavy rain.

Ground floors of houses and land plots in Ontopo village, Abasha municipality, have reportedly been flooded after the Noghela river overflowed its banks.

Locals say floods have destroyed crops and killed domestic animals.

All corresponding services are reportedly involved in flood relief operations.

The Special Commission will count the damage sustained by locals.
