How often we will need to be vaccinated against COVID-19

According to Vakhtang Kaloani, the founder of the Georgian Society of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine, considering today's data, annual vaccination against the novel virus will be compulsory.

In his words, vaccinated citizens may also catch the virus but with mild symptoms only.

'' We should understand that our chances of contracting the virus are rather high, at least 15% or slightly higher,'' he said, adding that vaccinated people will show mild symptoms only, and the necessity of hospitalization will never emerge.
