Hunger striking Mikheil Saakashvili's physician provides his health update

Mikheil Saakashvili's personal physician Nikoloz Khipshidze, who had visited ex-president Saakashvili in his prison cell, said that he felt weaker today than yesterday.

In the physician's words, they plan to hold tests tomorrow followed by analyses.''He is weaker than he used to be. His blood pressure and pulse are unstable. I require his hospitalization, but the Concilium will decide,'' he said.

Mikheil Saakashvili, who was detained on 1 October, has been on a hunger strike for 33 days now.
