A 49-year-old infected man died in the yard of one of the COVID hotels in Batumi.
According to the Ministry of Health of Adjara, the patient developed epileptic seizures upon admission to the hotel, probably with an episode of loss of consciousness.
The man was provided with appropriate medical assistance on the spot, but despite the measures taken, death was reported.
The incident happened on September 9th.
The Minister of Health of Adjara, Nino Nizharadze, will make a statement regarding the incident today.
