An investigation launched into domestic violence in Adjara. According to the available information, the mother beat her 9-year-old girl in Khelvachauri municipality.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the investigation launched under Article 126, Part 2, Subparagraph "a" of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates domestic violence against a minor with prior knowledge.
According to the agency, active investigative actions are underway at the moment.
