Kulumbegov: Similar body temperature not alarming

Allergist/Immunologist Bidzina Kulumbegov says that coronavirus patients may have a temperature for ten, twelve days, and even a couple of weeks, with this being normal unless patients show other symptoms.

In Kulumbegov's words, the body temperature of 37.1, 37.2, and 37.3 is a normal characteristic of viral infections. "For a couple of weeks and even a couple of months, a similar body temperature is not alarming unless patients show some other symptoms.

If, along with the temperature, patients suffer from fatigue, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, and so on, doctors' assistance is necessary.

However, if patients do not show these symptoms and have a body temperature of 37.2 or 37.3 only, this cannot even be considered a temperature and will go away in a couple of weeks," Kulumbegov said.
