Allergist/Immunologist Bidzina Kulumbegov said in his interview with the Georgian Public Broadcaster that the Georgian green pass has one serious fault.
In Kulumbegov's words, after the world has voiced concerns over the new Omicron COVID variant, the problem's severity has become more apparent.''Omicron is so highly mutated that it is true that the vaccine immunity may still work and protect people from a severe disease, but as Israel's newspaper said today, it will result in reinfection risks increasing by 2.5 times. The more rapidly we correct this mistake and implement the green pass in line with international practices, the more easily will we will take the step forward,'' Kulumbegov stressed.
