Today is the Memory Day in Leogrand Hotel to commemorate those who died in the tragedy two years ago. The members of Adjara government brought flowers to the Hotel.
A fire caused the death of 11 people in the Hotel two years ago. 10 citizens of Georgia and 1 citizen of Iran became the victims of the tragedy.
The investigation resulted in detainment of 2 staff member for the violation of fire security rules. The technical manager of the hotel was sentenced 5 years and 6 months of imprisonment and the warehouse manager – 2 years of imprisonment.
