The meeting of the Holy Synod will be held today. Ilia II, the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia and the spiritual leader of the Georgian Orthodox Church made the decision to set the meeting two days ago.
The Synod will be attended by Archbishop Jacob, former Chorbishop of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia.
It is yet unknown what issues will be discussed.
