Mikheil Chkhenkeli has been appointed as the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia. Giorgi Gakharia, the Prime Minister of Georgia signed the order.
Mikheil Chkhenkeli has been the Advisor to the Prime Minister of Georgia in educational issues till now, he was the Minister of Education in 2017-2018, before that he was Prorector of the Tbilisi State University.
Mikheil Batiashvili resigned on November 7. He has been holding the post of Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia since July 2018.
