Law enforcers detained a mother in Adjara, Khelvachauri municipality, who physically assaulted her 9-year-old daughter. The Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed the information.
According to the agency, the investigation launched under Article 126, Part 2, Subparagraph "a" of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates domestic violence against a minor with prior knowledge.
