The monument of Nariman Narimanov, Azerbaijani writer and public figure, has been restored at the initiative of Zaur Dargali, the Marneuli Mayor. The park in which the monument is erected is also being revamped.
Narimanov served as a teacher and doctor in the Khizilgajli village of the Marneuli municipality. The Azerbaijani writer and public figure would turn 150 this year.
