For the day of mourning, state flags were lowered at the Georgian Ministry of Defense's administrative buildings and all military bases, the Ministry of Defense reports.
As ordered by PM Irakli Garibashvili and the government, April 10 was declared a day of mourning in Georgia in memory of the tragically perished citizens who lived in the territory of occupied Abkhazia.
State flags will be lowered nationwide from 00:00 on April 10, 2021, until 00:00 on April 11.
