NCDC head Amiran Gamkrelidze names cause of falling vaccination rate

NCDC head Amiran Gamkrelidze says that lack of communication with the public has resulted in a falling vaccination rate in Georgia.

''Since 16 September, the vaccination rate has gradually been shrinking in the country, with this having lots of causes, with one of them being lack of communication with the public. We must provide people with on-the-spot information, visit each settlement and assure them that vaccination is a must. If we are vaccinated, we are more protected, which is why TV programs should focus on this issue several times a day, with each commercial dedicated to vaccination,'' Gamkrelidze declared.
