NCDC of Georgia releases information on Omicron

NCDC of Georgia calls for vaccination and compliance with regulations following two cases of Omicron coronavirus variant being confirmed in Georgia. 

NCDC says that citizens who were diagnosed with the Omicron variant had traveled in the US and the Near East. They reportedly went into self-isolation after showing mild symptoms. 

As the WHO data show, Omicron cases have been confirmed in more than 90 countries worldwide by Dec 19. 

NCDC reminds citizens that booster doses minimize the risk of contriving the new Omicron variant.

Georgia has so far confirmed two Omicron cases.
