Bishop of Tsalka, Grigori has been appointed as Metropolitan of Chkondidi Eparchy. The metropolitan of Akhalkalaki and Kumurdo Archbishop Nikoloz made this statement after the Holy Synod meeting to the media.
According to him the decision was made by the Holy Synod.
