Editor of the Kronika Plus newspaper Eliso Kiladze said that the Ksani prison convict died of COVID-19.
In her words, the prisoner, known only as A.G., was transported to a hospital late, with the family banned from saying a word on the incident.
"Other inmates are also infected, suffering from severe symptoms. Who will take care of them?" Kiladze wrote on social media
