According to Amiran Gamkrelidze, the head of the National Center for Disease Control, there have been about 300 cases in Georgia where a person became infected after vaccination, and specialists are studying the named cases.
As Amiran Gamkrelidze explained at the webinar for journalists, everyone who became infected after the vaccination has the virus in mild forms.
"We have about 300 cases where people become infected after the first vaccination. With almost everyone, the infection was quite mild and often asymptomatic," Gamkrelidze said.
