Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 24 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 260 people were tested.
A total of 103 patients are now under treatment at the five COVID centers in the region, with 19 patients in critical condition.
The occupied region has so far registered 15,075 cases, 14,099 recoveries, and 226 deaths.
