Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 92 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 443 people were tested.
A total of 270 patients are now under treatment at the five COVID centers in the region, 37 patients with severe COVID-19.
The occupied region has so far registered 7,871 cases, 6,003 recoveries, and 102 deaths (one recent).
