Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 317 new cases of the novel coronavirus and two deaths in a single day after 317 people were tested.
A total of 133 patients are now under treatment at Gudauta hospital, 28 patients with severe COVID-19.
The region has so far registered 5,174 cases, 3,483 recoveries, and 64 deaths.
