Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 65 new cases of the novel coronavirus and two deaths in a single day after 256 people were tested.
A total of 140 patients are now under treatment at Gudauta hospital, 30 patients with severe COVID-19.
The region has so far registered 5,278 cases, 3,608 recoveries, and 67 deaths (two recent).
