Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 23 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 259 people were tested.
A total of 104 patients are now under treatment at the Gudauta hospital.
The occupied region has so far registered 11,761 cases, 10,598 recoveries, and 180 deaths.
