Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 24 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 203 people were tested.
A total of 89 patients are now under treatment at the five COVID centers in the region, with ten patients in critical condition.
The occupied region has so far registered 13,669 cases, 13,163 recoveries, and 217 deaths.
